Your phone rings right as you’re heading into the Fine Arts building, arms laden with copies of your photography portfolio and tipping unsteadily on high heels. “Ah, shit,” you mumble, scuttling to the side of the entrance and out of the way of the flow of traffic up the stairs. A small side table holding a fica plant rests just below the stairs, so you hurry over and gingerly lay the stack of leather binders onto the table before digging into your purse.
“Hey,” you greet him, grinning from ear to ear.
“Y/N~ Aigo, you don’t know how good it is to hear your voice.”
“You, on the other hand, sound exhausted,” you comment, worry growing slightly at the already rough edges of his voice. His throat must be rubbed raw. “Are you on break right now?”
“In the van, on our way to M!Countdown to tape our first recording. Jungkookie says hi and that he misses you.”
“Tell him I said hi and that I miss him too,” you say with a laugh, double-checking the time on your watch. Eight minutes until you needed to head into the conference room.
“She says she loves me more and that you’re a brat,” Jimin snickers, his voice slightly farther away from the phone, and the small sounds of scuffle ensue on the other end of the line while you shake your head. “Yah! Fine, she said she misses you too, aish.” He returns to the line, grumbling, “He just fed earlier, so he has an unfair advantage. Muscle pig.”
